Scottish Children with Eczema Get Away for the Day Thanks to Child Protection e-Academy and Eczema Outreach Scotland

Child Protection e-Academy is proud to be supporting Eczema Outreach Scotland

Eczema Outreach Scotland aims to improve the quality of life of people affected by eczema, their families and their carers in Scotland.

We recently gave a £2000 donation to help to support their programme of providing child eczema suffers and their families with free days out.

The family outings target the most isolated families on Eczema Outreach Scotland's network and support the charities aims by allowing children with eczema to create new friendships and increase their self-esteem/confidence, whilst at the same time helping to create connections between their families and encouraging them to support each other.

The charity also works hard to raise awareness of eczema and influence policy and improve the statutory provision of services for children with eczema

Magali Speight, Chair, Eczema Outreach Scotland said “This donation means that the children and parents will be able to enjoy more ways to create connections and support each other. The children will experience new and rewarding social activities, realise they are not the only ‘scratchy kids in the world’ and that they can lead a fun filled childhood with lots of friends too!”

Charlotte Nutland, National Account Manager, Child protection e-Academy said “We’re so pleased that our donation will be making a direct impact on these children’s lives.”
