MCMC e-LEARNING INITIATIVE

Free courses for NEETS

To recognise achieving another major milestone of 600,000 learners, Virtual College, the Child Protection e-Academy’s parent company, has launched an initiative to offer free e-learning courses to those Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEETs).

The suite of six free interactive, internet based courses includes:

• Climbing the Career Ladder
• Customer Care
• Time Management
• Money Matters
• Health & Safety in the Workplace
• Data Protection

These courses can be provided free to anyone who falls under the NEET strategy: MCMC (More Choices, More Chances.)

For example the climbing the career ladder course will provide learners with the knowledge to:

• Know where to look for job opportunities
• Know how to complete an application form
• Understand what information to include in your CV
• Know how to prepare for job interviews
• Understand how to maintain your job and climb the career ladder

The initiative which is available until 21st December allows each individual to access six courses free. To sign up applicants simply self-register on the Virtual College website: www.virtual-college.co.uk
