We always say that e-learning should never take away from face-face, face-face training in child protection is paramount and the most important way of training people. However, with tighter purses and still huge amounts of staff to train in awareness level raising subjects e-learning does a great job of supporting current training provisions. Our e-learning is designed to support trainers and enhance current provisions.
Benefits for trainers working with e-learning:
• It can be used a pre learner; delivering all underpinning knowledge prior to more in depth courses for specialist training.
• This means that face-face training can be cut shorter and more time being spent of practical exercises/case studies/discussions
• You can ensure that all learners have completed the training by accessing real time reports and ensuring learners bring their certificate to face-face training.
• It means that all learners arrive at the face-face course with the same level of understanding and knowledge
• Basic Awareness training can be delivered by e-learning on a vast scale; leaving the trainers to concentrate on more specialist courses
• For topics that only a selection number of staff need to be trained in (Autism) e-learning is a great tool
• If colleagues are away on face-face training days they came update their knowledge by e-learning until the next available training session
