I was told not to expect much from Cardenden. I found a friendly, quite little town with a great little shop that does fresh sandwiches. The council building had a music lesson on, lots of out of tune trumpets and trombones! The meeting goes well, we chat about what we can offer, they’ve been stung bye-learning companies in the past, an all too familiar scenario, we discuss our support mechanisms. Drive back was absolutely fine, I do it, although Georgie looks nervous, (especially over the Forth Road bridge.)
The Fringe Festival is on and Edinburgh is EXTREMELY busy, fortunately we’re off to Glasgow.
Arriving in Glasgow i pull up at the at the wrong hotel, I thought things we’re going too smoothly. We finally check in to the city centre Premier Inn, friendly and clean hotel…. As always! .
We fancied somewhere abit different for tea. We’ve been recommend Cafe Gandolfi WOW this place is really amazing, full of quirky wooden furniture and a really fresh Scottish menu (Some of the words I didn't understand. You might have to ask, I did.). I imagine it would be lovely in winter as its quite dark and cosy. I hope you’re not getting the impression that all we do is eat……
